DIY Weaving

I decided I wanted to cut up an old T-shirt I got while I was on vacation. There was no place to try the shirt on when I bought it so it was a little big. I went ahead and searched some videos online and decided to try this one I found on weaving your shirts.
It's so simple and easy to do. All you need is a T-shirt, scissors, and a ruler, (Or just something with a flat line, I used a magazine because that's all I had handy) Then just let your creativity bloom!
It was super fun and I loved it so much, I did it to some other shirts as well. I tried with an old shirt first to be sure if I messed up I wouldn't be mad. So if you're not comfortable, then I suggest using one you don't care for anymore.
Below I have included some pictures of the actual shirt I weaved. I had no idea weaving would be so fun and transformational too. It looks like a totally different style now. As you can see from the photos I've posted.
I  cut off all the hems, the neckline, sleeves, and bottom of the shirt. Then stretched the fabric. Afterwords I did a single weave in the back. Now, my shirt was bigger than it should have been so it would look much better with a shirt that is fitted.  Although, since it was bigger, I did like the way it slipped off my shoulder from time to time.
You can see the full tutorial in the YouTube video I posted for you. (Not me in the video) Hope you enjoy and it's helpful for you.
